东盟国际博览会‌是一个重要的国际性盛会，每年吸引来自中国和东盟各国的嘉宾齐聚一堂，聚焦主业、聚焦东盟、聚焦实效，共同为构建更为紧密的中国—东盟命运共同体、高质量共建“一带一路”贡献力量。自2004年首届东博会启幕以来，已经成功举办了多届，成为区域和全球瞩目的国际盛会。东博会的成功举办，不仅展示了中国与东盟各国在经济、文化、教育等多个领域的深度交流和紧密合作，而且通过举办经贸活动，促进了中国—东盟自由贸易区从1.0版向2.0版升级并迈向3.0版，实现了贸易投资逆势攀升。
